Consumer electronics firm H.C. Starck Inc. will receive the “Evolution of Manufacturing” Award, an honor bestowed upon manufacturing companies located in Northern Ohio, USA, that have adapted their business plan to better compete in a global economy.
The award recognizes H.C. Starck’s efforts to deploy effective continuous improvement methodologies, inlcuding Lean and Six Sigma, in conjunction with a Sustainable Energy Management system. These programs helped H.C. Starck reduce waste, optimize productivity, streamline processes, improve efficiencies and reduce costs. focused on customer satisfaction, product quality and on-time delivery.
The award will be formally presented on Feb. 17, at the Evolution of Manufacturing Conference being held in Westlake, Ohio, USA. H.C. Stark was one of 12 manufacturing companies selected as winners of the award, which honors manufacturers in the Northern Ohio region for adapting their business systems to better compete in the global economy.
