Finch Paper, based in Glen Falls, N.Y., USA, has named Black Belt Ken Chartier as its new director, quality and continuous improvement.
In his new role, Chartier will be responsible for ensuring that the paper mill’s quality systems meet the needs of its customers. As a key member of Finch’s manufacturing and strategic leadership teams, he will work with the company’s sales, marketing and product management groups to understand specific customer needs.
Chartier has more than 30 years of industry experience at paper mills in Virginia, Wisconsin, New York, Minnesota and Germany. Most recently, he held various positions at NewPage, including, product development engineer, senior process engineer, technical manager and professional services manager.
