Albany Door Systems announced that David Leach has joined its Americas business unit as quality manager. In his new role, Leach will have responsibility for all quality assurance and customer satisfaction activities in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Prior to joining Albany Door Systems, Leach was with L-3 Communications Displays Systems, where he performed roles in quality assurance, field reliability and system safety engineering for leading edge military and commercial avionics. He also has held manufacturing management positions with a medical device company and in the telecommunications industry, where he led Lean Six Sigma process/product improvement initiatives in the areas of optical cable manufacturing and fiber optic manufacturing.
